After-School Activities at The British School of Gothenburg
At The British School of Gothenburg (BSG), we are committed to offering an education that goes beyond the academic curriculum. Our after-school activities programme plays a vital role in nurturing the social, emotional, and personal development of every student. These activities are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and promote well-being, enriching the overall learning experience at BSG.
While participation is optional, we highly encourage students to engage in these opportunities, which offer learning through real-world applications, teamwork, and leadership. Our broad selection of clubs allows students to explore interests outside the classroom, fostering a healthy balance between academic and personal growth.
Our vibrant club system is structured to promote student ownership, responsibility, and leadership. Senior students are encouraged to run and manage their own clubs, which not only deepens their engagement but also provides younger students with a variety of enriching experiences.
Journalism Club
Students write and edit articles about school events and global news, developing skills in writing, research, and critical thinking.
Drama Club
Focused on performance, communication, and confidence, this club supports students as they participate in school plays and theatrical productions.
STEAM Club

Environmental Club
