Joining The British School in Gothenburg should be an exciting time for students and their parents. To ensure that you can enjoy this time with your child, we do everything in our power to make our admissions process as simple as possible.
The education at our school is carried out under the supervision of the Swedish School Inspectorate (SW. Skolinspektionen) and is performed in accordance with the standards set out in the Swedish Education Act and other applicable Swedish regulations on International Schools.
To be considered for admission to The British School In Gothenburg, students must meet one of the four below criteria:
In addition to one of the above criteria, to be awarded enrolment at BSG, Applicants must be registered with the Swedish taxation authorities (Skatteverket) as residents of Sweden and have a Swedish identification number (personal number or temporary number).
Further documentation required before the student’s start date is proof of address in Sweden which can be obtained via the Skatteverket website.
