About The School
The British School in Gothenburg(BSG) offers the UK National Curriculum from Reception to A-Levels (ages 5–19). Our experienced, UK-trained teachers provide a high-quality education in a fully English-speaking and inclusive learning environment.

International families in Sweden often face academic challenges when enrolling in the national system:

Most 100% Swedish or bilingual schools require mandatory Swedish instruction.(The challenge is, the students must first learn the Swedish language and then take the exams in Swedish.)

Students must pass Swedish National Exams in at least 3 subjects — all in Swedish to be eligible for gymnasium(High School) entry.

Swedish as a language subject is also compulsory, even for students with no prior background.
